is proud to present our first season of Theatrical Education Courses are for 10 Weeks and the fee for each course is $150.

Each class must have a minimal of 6 students enrolled for the class to take place. A maximum of 15 students will be allowed into each course, so enroll today!

Tuesday courses
Acting for Kids I
Tuesdays: 5:00 - 6:00
Instructor: Lisa Noel Howe

Course Description: This class for 3-6 graders focuses on acting warmups, creative movement and thinking, improv, make-up techniques and features a presentation at the conclusion of the course. Comfy clothes and shoes recommended

Acting for Kids II
Tuesdays: 6:15 - 7:15
Instructor: Lisa Noel Howe
Prerequisite: Acting for Kids I
or Instructor approval

Course Description: A Continuing course for, the students of All Play’s first acting course or for 3-6 grade students who have had extensive stage experience. This course will focus on auditioning, script analysis and character development. Comfy Clothes and shoes recommended

“Comfortable in Your Space”
Tuesdays: 7:30 - 8:30
Instructor: Lisa Noel Howe

Course Description: This course is for adults 18 &up, and focuses on giving individuals who may not be used to being in the spotlight an opportunity to “break out of their shell” Included will be instruction on public speaking, an introduction to movement, learning the basics of auditioning, and a few other surprises developed to free you of those butterflies for good The class requires no prior experience. Be ready to have a great time

Creative Voice & Movement
Tuesdays: 9:00 - 10:00
Instructor: Jason Bilaski

Course Description: Each class meeting will consist of participation in exercises designed to improve students’ vocal expressiveness, specifically in the areas of resonance, articulation, breath control, relaxation, and physical alignment, as well as movement ranges using the concepts of understanding your body, and your space,. This class is offered to
ages 16&up

Wednesday courses
Directing I
Wednesdays: 5:00 - 6:00
Instructor: Jason Bilaski

Course Description: Directing I will give aspiring directors the opportunity to learn how to put together a show from concept to performance. Included in this course will be an understanding of script analysis, an introduction to story development and finding the story arch, and developing stage management skills and blocking plans. This class is offered to
ages 16& up.

Acting I for Teens
Wednesdays: 6:15 - 7:15
Instructor: Jason Bilaski

Course Description: This class is an introduction to all of the basic concepts that will start you on your way to understanding acting as a professional experience. Included are lessons in character development, script analysis, as well as an understanding of beats, and character arch. Learn how to develop character from the script, to work well with your directors, and to work well with other actors This course is open to teens 13 to 17 who have a serious interest in the performing arts.

Audition and Scene Study
Wednesdays: 7:30 - 8:30
Instructor - Timm Richardson

Course Description: The right presentation can make all the difference in an audition and this 10 week course will get any actor ready for their next cold reading. By introducing the class to many standard acting techniques (think of it as your first steps into Meisner and Stanislavsky), Timm will work to improve each actors ability to understand their inner monologue, listen and react accordingly, and to develop a strong goal and objective set. A great starter course for those interested in pursuing acting as more than a hobby - 17&up

Intro to Improv - 17 & up
Wednesdays - 9:00 to 10:00
Instructor - Timm Richardson

Course Description: Ever have dreams of being on Who’s Line is it Anyway? Interested in learning the same techniques used by those who perform at Second City and the Groundlings in LA? This is the class for you. Part of the beauty of improvision is that there is an incredible amount of structure in an art form that seems to happen off the cuff, and this class will teach you how to play by the “rules”. Included is an understanding of improvisational games and how they work, guidance in developing a character on the spot, and direction on how to integrate improvisational tools into your acting work. NOTE: Adult themes and situations.
